About the estate
The Dacasto Duilio winery is located in Agliano Terme in Piedmont and is run as a family business in the fifth generation. The eight hectares of vineyards are distributed across the Frazione Salere and Frazione Vianoce areas. The estate primarily cultivates Barbera, alongside smaller portions of Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Arneis. The soils are predominantly characterized by calcareous marl, clay, and potassium. Vinification is carried out as naturally as possible to preserve the quality produced in the vineyard.

Il Vianus è per noi un inno alla piemontesità; ci ha sempre affascinato l’idea di produrre un vino bianco dal DNA piemontese, il tempo ci ha dimostrato che impiantare Arneis ad Agliano Terme fu una scelta azzardata ma azzeccata.
