About the estate
The Dacapo estate was founded in 1997 through the restoration of an old estate in Agliano Terme and merged with Cà ed Balos in 2017 to create a connection between the Monferrato and Piedmont regions. Cultivation spans vineyards located in Agliano Terme, Castagnole Monferrato, and Castiglione Tinella, where grape varieties such as Barbera, Moscato, Ruchè, Grignolino, Pinot Noir, and Nebbiolo are grown. Winemaking relies on manual and selective harvesting of the grapes as well as aging in barriques, tonneaux, and French Allier oak barrels situated within a historic barrel cellar.
The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Muscat and Barbera.
