About the estate
The Azienda Agricola Crivelli winery located in Castagnole Monferrato, Piedmont, traces its history back to around 1860 when Secondo Crivelli established the estate, which is managed today by Marco Maria Crivelli alongside his son Jonathan and his wife. The eight hectares of vineyards are primarily situated on the Montiò hill and are cultivated with Ruchè, Grignolino, Barbera, and Syrah. The estate manages its vineyards with respect for the environment by avoiding the use of herbicides, desiccants, and antibotrytis treatments. The production includes wines under the Barbera d’Asti DOCG, Grignolino d’Asti DOC, Monferrato Rosso DOC, and Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCG denominations, which are aged in the expanded cellar and distributed internationally.
The eno directory lists 4 wines, mostly from Ruchè and Grignolino.
