About the estate

The CHIONETTI s.s.a winery in Dogliani, Piedmont, looks back on a history spanning over a century, which began in 1912 when Giuseppe Chionetti acquired a farmhouse in San Luigi. Today, the fifth generation manages the estate, drawing on generations of experience in traditional and nature-focused viticulture. The vineyards extend across the areas of Dogliani as well as renowned Barolo crus in locations such as Monforte d'Alba, Castiglione Falletto, and La Morra. The production centers on classic grape varieties including Dolcetto, Barbera, Nebbiolo, and Riesling, cultivated according to organic farming guidelines with predominantly manual vineyard operations. The estate's philosophy aims to express the specific characteristics of the individual sites and each vintage through distinctive, terroir-driven wines.
