About the estate
The Chateau la Foret estate is located in southwestern France at the edge of the Périgord pourpre, producing wines under the AOC Bergerac, AOC Bergerac rosé, AOC Bergerac sec, and AOC Côtes de Bergerac denominations. Alongside viticulture, the historic family-run farm features traditional polyculture including cereals, prunes, and walnuts. In 1998, Hervé succeeded his parents, and was later joined in 2011 by his partner Laurence, a former winemaker from the Bordeaux region. Together, they focus on crafting fruit-driven wines that fully express their terroir.
