About the estate

The Château du Grand Caumont estate is one of the largest wine producers in the Corbières appellation in the Languedoc-Roussillon region, spanning 105 hectares of vineyards. The property takes its name from the surrounding garrigue overlooking the château. Cultivated grape varieties include Grenache blanc, Vermentino, Cinsault, Merlot, Cabernet, Syrah, and old vines. Harvesting takes place from late August to early October following careful monitoring of optimal ripeness across all parcels. The estate places great emphasis on environmental protection, biodiversity preservation, and sustainable, quality-driven viticulture practices.
