About the estate

The Chateau de Stony has its roots in a long-standing family history established in 1860 by the Savoyard ancestor Hippolyte Chavasse. Located in Languedoc within the appellation area of Muscat de Frontignan, the estate sits on a unique subsoil of lacustrine limestone and benefits from a Mediterranean climate. After being passed down through generations, Frédéric Nodet took over the winery in 1983 and now runs the estate together with Lydie Nodet. Since 2005, production methods have shifted towards working in harmony with nature to preserve the biological balance of the soil and limit chemical inputs.
