Caves de Chambleau

About the estate

The Caves de Chambleau estate is situated on the heights of the village of Colombier in the Neuchâtel wine region, spreading its vines between the lake and the foothills of the Jura. Owned by the Burgat family since 1950, the winery continues to grow through successive generations. The dry limestone soils of the hillside vineyards, resting on beds of sand and gravel, are particularly well suited for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The estate has been farmed entirely organically since 2017, complemented by biodynamic practices to enhance soil health. All grapes are carefully harvested and sorted by hand before vinification in a modern vat room and aging in wooden barrels within a confined aging cellar.
