About the estate

The Cantina Canaio estate is located in Cortona, Tuscany, and is run by young producers with decades of winemaking experience. In 2014, the winery began producing its own labels under the Cortona DOC denomination after the vineyards emerged from a family property split in 2012. The vines are planted with Syrah and Merlot and cultivated at an altitude of 320 meters above sea level. The estate's philosophy focuses on quality and meticulous observation of the vineyards to determine the ideal harvest timing. The winery places great emphasis on a dedicated, uncompromising approach both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
