About the estate
The I Vicini estate is managed by the Antonioli family, who have practiced winemaking for generations and acquired a historic property in Pergo di Cortona in 1978. Spanning approximately twenty hectares of vineyards in the hills of Cortona, the estate cultivates Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Sangiovese. Characterized by silty-sandy soils, the terroir benefits from a favorable microclimate influenced by nearby Lake Trasimeno. Farming practices include natural cover cropping, the reduction of copper treatments, and strict yield limitation through green harvesting. Following careful selection and vinification, the wines are matured in stainless steel tanks and large French oak casks.
