Poggio Sorbello

About the estate

The Poggio Sorbello estate is located in the hills of Cortona and cultivates ten hectares of vineyards. The vines are planted with a high density of approximately 5200 plants per hectare and are primarily trained using the spurred cordon method. The cultivated grape varieties include Syrah as the basis of the Cortona DOC denomination, alongside Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sangiovese. The portfolio is completed by the recently planted white grape varieties Chardonnay and Viognier.
