About the estate
The Blasi Cantina estate in Umbria has family roots tracing back to Bino Blasi born in 1893, with the modern winery and vineyards established in 2009 by Didi and Mauro Blasi. Today, the fourth generation manages the estate, with Michele overseeing wine production alongside family members who also handle traditional local gastronomy. The vineyards cover 24 hectares on clay, sandy, and stony soils at altitudes ranging from 250 to 450 meters. The cultivated grape varieties include red and white cultivars such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sagrantino, Grechetto, and Chardonnay. Vineyard management is meticulous, and the estate is currently undergoing conversion to organic farming.
