About the estate

The Braunstein family estate in historical Purbach on Lake Neusiedl looks back on a history of over 400 years, with three generations now living under one roof. Birgit Braunstein leads the winery as a pioneer of biodynamic agriculture, working organically and regeneratively in harmony with nature. The vineyards are situated on the Leitha Mountains, where limestone and crystalline slate soils impart minerality and depth to the vines. In the cellar, natural spontaneous fermentation, the absence of fining, and minimal intervention are employed to create long-lived and authentic wines.

The eno directory lists 27 wines, mostly from Blaufränkisch and Pinot Blanc.
