About the estate

The Nehrer family winery produces wines on the Leithaberg that are shaped by their origin around St. Georgen. The vines grow on lean, stony sites characterized by limestone and slate, alongside a Pannonian climate with cooling winds. In the vineyard, the estate works organically, relies heavily on manual labor, and focuses on biodiversity and healthy old vines. In the cellar, the wines are given ample time and minimal intervention. This approach creates harmonious and precise wines.

The eno directory lists 22 wines, mostly from Blaufränkisch and Rösler. The estate sells to distributors, horeca and retail. Export markets include Switzerland, Germany and Hungary.
