About the estate

The Leo Hillinger estate is based in Jois in the Leitha Mountains region of northern Burgenland. The winery farms more than 100 hectares of vineyards and is managed by Leo Hillinger as an organic winemaker and entrepreneur. Starting from a small family wine business, the enterprise has grown into an internationally renowned operation with wines exported to around 20 countries. The focus is on natural wines that reflect their regional origins.

The eno directory lists 48 wines, mostly from Sauvignon Blanc and Grüner Veltliner. The estate sells to retail and horeca. Export markets include Germany, Belgium, Italy and Luxembourg.
