About the estate

The Köllerhaus estate is a traditional family winery in Eisenstadt in the Leitha Mountains that has been owned by the Köller family since 1895 and is currently managed by Maximilian Köller. The estate currently cultivates five hectares of vineyards situated on the slopes of the Leitha Mountains. The soils are strongly characterized by marine deposits such as shell limestone and mica schist, which impart a distinct minerality to the wines. The winery practices organic integrated controlled viticulture, consistently avoiding the use of herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers. The portfolio includes characteristic wines of the Leithaberg DAC denomination such as Blaufränkisch and Chardonnay.
