The Adega Cooperativa Regional de Monção is situated in the Monção and Melgaço subregion within the Vinho Verde DOC of Portugal. The estate unites close to 1,600 cooperative members and operates in an area characterized by a distinct microclimate shaped by the Minho River and natural protection from Atlantic influences. Cultivated grape varieties include the prominent Alvarinho, alongside Trajadura, Vinhão, Alvarelhão, and Pedral. These grapes yield distinct regional wines, including the Alvarinho Deu-La-Deu Reserva and the white Vinho Verde Muralhas de Monção. The winery combines traditional cultivation of the local terroir with projects dedicated to scientific research and landscape preservation.
