About the estate

The Xavier Frissant Vigneron estate is managed by the family across eight generations, cultivating 15 hectares of vineyards in Mosnes within the Loire Valley. The vineyards extend over various sites featuring flint-clay and sandy-loam soils, perfectly matched with grape varieties such as Chenin, Sauvignon blanc, Côt noir, and Fié gris. Since 2018, the winery has been in conversion to organic farming, focusing on ecosystem preservation and mechanical soil management. In the cellar, vinification is adapted to each terroir and grape variety using temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, large wooden casks, or oak barrels. The produced wines fall under the AOC Touraine and AOC Touraine-Amboise appellations, reflecting the distinctive profile of the local soils.
