About the estate
The Stefan Sauer winery, located in Nordheim am Main in Franconia, looks back on a long family tradition in winemaking dating back to 1639. The foundation for the current estate was laid by Stefan Sauer in 1962 when he began producing and marketing his own wines. The vineyards are cultivated using consistently sustainable and vegan methods in harmony with nature, completely avoiding animal fining agents and glyphosate. In the cellar, traditional craftsmanship is combined with modern technology to produce characterful and authentic wines. The wines are distributed directly from the estate as well as through regional and supra-regional trade.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Domina and Dornfelder. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
