About the estate

The family-owned estate Weingut Knauer is located at the edge of the city wall of Dettelbach in Lower Franconia and is currently managed in the sixth generation. Covering a vineyard area of around 14 hectares, the winery cultivates vines in the Dettelbacher Honigberg large site, which includes the Sonnenleite and Bergrondell single vineyards. The family independently handles the vinification and marketing of the wines from the Franconian region. The portfolio includes various wine categories such as local wines, single-vineyard wines, and liter wines. Distribution takes place directly through the estate to wine enthusiasts and customers.
