Weingut Laufer

About the estate

The Weingut Laufer estate has its origins in the historic vaulted cellar of an old castle in Bimbach and is managed by the Laufer family, who reside at Lisberg Castle. The vineyards of this family winery extend from the foothills of the Haßberge and the Steigerwald to the Main loop. The vines grow on diverse soils consisting of shell limestone and keuper, which yield both delicate and succulent wine styles. To preserve the natural ecosystem, diverse plant mixtures are sown throughout the vineyards. Vinification encompasses both traditional and distinct stylistic lines.

The eno directory lists 31 wines, mostly from Silvaner and Chardonnay. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
