About the estate
The Meusert winery in Volkach-Fahr looks back on a long tradition officially documented since 1643. Today, the family jointly cultivates seven hectares of vineyards in the Volkacher Ratsherr and Zeilitzheimer Heiligenberg sites. The focus of viticulture is on low yields, manual labor, and the careful matching of grape varieties to their respective locations. The site-specific wines are characterized by shell limestone soils, extended yeast contact, and a mineral and clear style. Distribution takes place directly from the estate as well as through partners in gastronomy and trade.
