About the estate

The Schloss Saarstein estate cultivates a vineyard area of 10 hectares in steep sites along the Saar. The winery is managed by Christian Ebert, who is supported in all vineyard and cellar work by a long-standing permanent employee. In addition, the estate places great emphasis on training apprentices in order to pass on professional knowledge. For vineyard management, the winery relies on targeted mechanization in the steep slopes, for which paths are adapted and row widths are optimized during new plantings.
