About the estate
The Karp-Schreiber winery looks back on a long tradition that began in 1664 as a combination of fishing and viticulture. Today, the estate is managed in the 13th generation by Jobst-Julius Karp. Since 2022, vineyard operations have been conducted exclusively according to organic criteria, focusing on biodiversity and sustainable management. In the cellar, gentle grape pressing and cooled fermentation in stainless steel produce fruity and fresh wines, alongside site-specific wines matured in traditional large wooden casks known as Fuderfass.
The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Riesling and Pinot Blanc.
