About the estate

The Ruppenstein estate is located in Oberschwarzach in the Franconia region and has been run by the family for five generations. The vines grow in the Steigerwald on characteristic Keuper soil, which gives the wines structure, strength, and a saline character. The estate works in the rhythm of nature and applies manual labor in the vineyards. In the cellar, the wines are given the necessary time to develop in wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks. This creates wines with depth and personality that reflect their regional origin.
