About the estate
The Dostert winery has been run by the Dostert family for several generations on the southern Moselle, having evolved over time from mixed agriculture into a dedicated wine estate. The most important vineyards of the estate are located in the Nitteler Leiterchen and Nitteler Rochusfels sites. On the local soils characterized by dolomite, limestone, and deep shell limestone, particularly Elbling and Pinot wines thrive. For vineyard management, the estate relies on a combination of traditional manual work for essential steps such as pruning and the judicious use of machinery. In addition to winemaking, the estate operates a guest house and offers wine tastings as well as guided tours.
