About the estate

The Wassler Jean-Marie estate is located in Nothalten in Alsace and is run as a family business, with Fabrice joining in 2001 to take over the cellar management. Over the years, the portfolio has expanded from seven to twenty cuvées under the AOC Alsace denomination. Since 2022, the winery has been certified organic, entirely omitting insecticides, pesticides, herbicides, and chemical fertilizers. Vineyard management relies on mechanical soil cultivation and the integration of natural plants to encourage a harmonious ecosystem and biodiversity. The winemaking process involves a combination of manual and mechanical harvesting, pneumatic pressing, and in some cases, vinification without added sulfur or other additives.
