About the estate

The Tenute Cuffaro di Filippo Cuffaro estate cultivates twelve hectares of vineyards on a plateau situated between Agrigento and Realmonte. The history of the winery is deeply rooted in the ancient Feudo di Fauma estate, whose lands have been acquired and managed by the Cuffaro family since 1960. Located on dark, medium-textured soils with a favorable microclimate, the vineyards are home to grape varieties such as Nero d'Avola, Catarratto bianco lucido, and Inzolia. The traditional craft-based working method involves avoiding synthetic plant protection products and limiting yields to ensure high grape quality. Since 2016, the family-run winery has been vinifying its own harvest.

The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Inzolia and Nero d'Avola. The estate sells to retail.
