About the estate
The Assuli winery srl estate is located in the heart of western Sicily between Mazara del Vallo and Trapani, rooted in a family tradition that began with the establishment of Baglio Assuli in 1993. Today, the third generation of the Caruso family manages the enterprise, which spans approximately 130 hectares of vineyards and produces organic wines under the Sicilia DOC denomination. The vineyards are situated across various plots featuring diverse soil compositions and altitudes reaching up to 650 meters above sea level. The portfolio focuses on native grape varieties such as Nero d’Avola, Grillo, Zibibbo, Insolia, Lucido, and Perricone, alongside Syrah. In addition to commercial production, the winery maintains an experimental vineyard dedicated to the research and preservation of ancient Sicilian grape varieties.
