About the estate

The Alcesti winery is a traditional family estate in Sicily dedicated to viticulture across several generations. The fifty hectares of vineyards are located in the western region between Marsala, Mazara, and Salemi, stretching from coastal breezes into the rolling inland hills. The portfolio features native grape varieties such as Grillo, Nero d'Avola, Catarratto, and Zibibbo alongside international varieties, crafted into various product lines. Vineyard management focuses on meticulous canopy work and selective cluster thinning to prioritize quality over quantity. In addition to still wines, the production includes organic and vegan wines, complex blends, and sparkling wines.

The eno directory lists 19 wines, mostly from Catarratto and Nero d'Avola.
