About the estate

The Tenuta Carobbio winery is located in Greve in Chianti in the heart of Tuscany and looks back on a history dating back to the fifteenth century. In 1985, Carlo Novarese acquired the then-neglected estate and initiated its comprehensive revival. The vineyards are predominantly planted at high density to keep yields per plant low in favor of quality. In addition to Chianti Classico DOCG, the estate also produces wines under the Toscana IGT classification. Vineyard management includes targeted green harvesting in summer and strict manual harvesting to process only optimally ripened grapes.
