About the estate
The Tenuta Borri estate located in Travo, Emilia-Romagna, looks back on a long family tradition in winemaking spanning at least five generations. Today, the winery is managed by agronomist Andrea Pradelli, who initiated the first commercial production in 2011 following the replanting of the historic vineyards in 2008. Spanning currently about three and a half hectares of vineyards, the grapes are harvested exclusively by hand with careful selection in the vineyard. In the cellar, fermentations proceed exclusively spontaneously using native yeasts present on the grapes without any selected commercial yeasts.
