About the estate
The Casa Benna estate cultivates eleven hectares of vineyards in the hills of Emilia-Romagna near Castell’Arquato. The vines grow on variable, iron-rich clay soils that impart a unique complexity to the wines. Viticultural practices avoid herbicides in favour of mechanical soil management and refrain from artificial irrigation. In the cellar, the winery combines traditional methods with modern technology, including soft pressing and temperature control during fermentation. The product range features regional appellations such as Colli Piacentini DOC, Gutturnio Classico Riserva, Monterosso Val d’Arda DOC, and Ortrugo dei Colli Piacentini DOC.
