About the estate
The Cordani Marco estate is situated on the gentle hills of the Val d’Arda in the Italian province of Piacenza. The roots of the property go back generations, with the current Azienda Agricola being managed by Marco Cordani since 2001. Across a vineyard area of six hectares, traditional grape varieties such as Barbera, Croatina, Ortrugo, Malvasia, Trebbiano, and Moscato are cultivated alongside a small plot of Syrah. Viticulture is conducted according to organic farming principles with certified methods. In the cellar, the winery relies on traditional vinification techniques featuring spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, concrete and steel tanks, amphorae, and a brief maturation in barriques for the reserve wine.
The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Barbera and Ortrugo.
