About the estate

The family-run Weinhof Simlinger estate is based in Droß and cultivates vineyards in the Kremstal and Kamptal regions. The portfolio includes grape varieties such as Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Yellow Muskateller, and Zweigelt, which thrive on loam, loess, and primary rock soils. The winery focuses on manual crop thinning, elaborate foliage management, and hand harvesting. While the white wines mature in stainless steel tanks following temperature-controlled fermentation, the red wines spend at least one year aging in wooden barrels. Storage takes place in a traditionally vaulted wine cellar.
