About the estate
The Santa Tresa estate is located in Vittoria in the southeast of Sicily and looks back on a history dating back to 1697. The property covers a total area of 50 hectares, with 39 hectares dedicated to vineyards situated at an altitude of 240 meters above sea level. The cultivated grape varieties include traditional indigenous grapes such as Frappato, Nero d'Avola, and Grillo, alongside international varieties like Viognier. Additionally, an experimental vineyard is dedicated to the organic cultivation and study of numerous other ancient and traditional local grape varieties. The estate operates under organic agricultural practices, utilizing both traditional wooden casks and modern stainless steel tanks for winemaking.
