About the estate

The Rolly Gassmann estate manages 55 hectares of vineyards in Rorschwihr, Alsace, and looks back on a family winemaking tradition with roots dating back to 1611. Ten staff members tend the vineyards with the objective of fostering a balance between the biological activity of the subsoil and vine growth. Cosmic rhythms as well as plant preparations and homeopathic doses are employed to ensure the most natural approach possible. Viticulture benefits from a unique geological diversity featuring numerous distinct subsoils and microclimates in the region. The wines carry the AOC Alsace and AOC Alsace Grand Cru designations and reflect the identity of each specific terroir and vintage.
