About the estate
The RIZZI Az. Vitiv. di Dellapiana Ernesto e Figli s.s.a estate, located in Treiso in Piedmont, was founded in 1974 by Ernesto Dellapiana when he left his entrepreneurial career in Turin to return to farming. Today, the family-run winery is managed in the second generation by his children Jole and Enrico, who oversee the commercial and technical operations respectively. The estate spans 44 hectares of vineyards situated across several renowned crus, including Cru Rizzi, Cru Nervo, and Cru Pajorè. The cultivated grape varieties primarily feature Nebbiolo for Barbaresco, alongside Barbera, Dolcetto, Moscato, Freisa, Chardonnay, and Pinot Nero. Vineyard management consistently emphasizes traditional methods and respect for the local ecosystem.
