About the estate

The history of the Forno family in Santo Stefano Belbo dates back to 1600, while Pietro Forno began producing the first bottles in 1940. Today, the TENUTA IL FALCHETTO Az. Agr. dei Fratelli Forno s.s.a. estate in the Langhe and Monferrato regions of Piedmont is managed in the third generation by the brothers Giorgio, Fabrizio, and Adriano Forno. The winery cultivates six estate-owned properties with a primary focus on the Moscato Bianco and Barbera grape varieties. The vineyards are managed manually from pruning to harvest following a sustainable model without the use of insecticides and herbicides.
