About the estate

The Quinta Vale do Cesto, Lda estate is located in Oliveira do Hospital in the Dão region and is rooted in a long-standing family history. The vines grow on granitic soils at an altitude of five hundred meters, influenced by significant temperature variations between day and night. The vineyards feature century-old indigenous varieties cultivated with the knowledge passed down through generations. Following a manual harvest, the vinification takes place in large granite lagares with temperature control, followed by aging in French oak barrels. The portfolio comprises certified, fresh, and elegant white, red, and rosé wines with high gastronomic potential.
