About the estate
The Madre de Água, Lda winery located in Gouveia within the Portuguese Dão region originates from a project established in 2007 by the couple Luís and Lurdes. The vineyards are surrounded by a group of mountains that protect the vines from external influences. This geographical setting provides the wines with unique aroma and flavor characteristics. Situated at the foothills of the Serra da Estrela, the estate produces wines within the Dão DOC denomination.
