The Quinta Agrícola do Penedo dos Mouros estate draws on a three-generation winemaking tradition rooted in the Dão DOC and other Portuguese regions. The family's origins date back to the early 1950s when production focused on supplying other companies. In 1995, the enterprise acquired facilities in Anadia and gradually expanded its portfolio to include origins such as Bairrada, Douro, Vinho Verde, Lisboa, and Alentejo. Alongside still wines, the production also encompasses sparkling and fortified wines. The business places a strong emphasis on food safety and achieved IFS certification as one of the early Portuguese wine producers.
