The Quinta da Pellada - Unipessoal, Lda estate has a long history with the first historical references dating back to 1527. The vineyards are situated in the Dão region at altitudes between 450 and 600 meters on granite-based soils. The climate is characterized by cold, rainy winters and hot, dry summers. Native grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Encruzado, Jaen, Tinta Roriz, Alfrocheiro, Bical, and Cercial are cultivated here. The winery combines traditional methods with modern techniques to craft natural wines that reflect the unique character of each parcel.
