About the estate

The Poderi Rosso Giovanni di Rosso Lionello estate is managed in the third generation in Agliano Terme, Piedmont. The winery spans a vineyard area of twelve hectares located in the hills of Monferrato, which is almost entirely cultivated with the Barbera grape variety. The production and ageing of the wines take place in two cellars, including a historic cellar from the year 1698 and a newer facility at Cascina Perno renovated in 2017. The focus of the production lies on the various typologies of Barbera d'Asti. The operational approach includes dedicated work in the vineyards and certified sustainable agriculture under the SQNPI standard.
