About the estate
The Podere Cianfanelli estate in Greve in Chianti, Tuscany, was founded by David Cianfanelli, who runs the winery following the traditions of his grandfather and great-grandfather. Across six hectares of vineyards with south-westerly to south-easterly exposure on clay and galestro soils, the organically farmed estate cultivates grape varieties such as Sangiovese, Malvasia nera, Canaiolo, and Colorino. Cultivation relies on Guyot and spurred cordons with low yields of approximately fifty hundredweights per hectare. Vinification in the cellar is entirely organic using indigenous yeasts, with maturation taking place in ten-hectolitre oak casks instead of barriques. The portfolio includes the Chianti Classico DOCG and Toscana IGT denominations.
The eno directory lists 2 wines, mostly from Sangiovese and Malvasia Nera.

Ritorno offre piacevoli sentori di lampone e frutta rossa con un tocco vegetale di pomodoro verde e peperone. Ha un’ ottima acidità e risulta abbastanza persistente.
