Paul Weltner

About the estate

The Paul Weltner estate cultivates vineyard sites characterized by a diverse mineral mix of reed sandstone, dolomite, anhydrite, clayey marl, and gypsum keuper. The production focus is on Sylvaner, which accounts for sixty percent of the cultivated area. The estate's vineyards include the Hoheleite, Küchenmeister, Schwanleite, and Julius-Echter-Berg sites. The working method relies on intensive manual labor as well as the preservation of healthy soils and vital vines as the foundation for authentic wines. The winery is a member of the Verband Deutscher Prädikatsweingüter.
