About the estate
The Patrizia Cencioni estate is located in Montalcino in Tuscany and is run as a family business by owner Patrizia alongside her daughters Annalisa and Arianna. The winery traces its origins back to a traditional farm established in the 1950s by grandfather Giuseppe Cencioni, with the current company founded in 1989. Across a total area of approximately 50 hectares, the family cultivates vineyards planted with Sangiovese among other plots. The vineyards sit at around 350 meters above sea level and are situated close to the cellars to allow for prompt manual harvesting. Vinification involves temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by a slow maturation process in oak barrels.
