About the estate

The Ökoweingut Trossen estate is located in Kinheim in the Moselle valley and is run by Rita and Rudolf Trossen. As early as 1978, the winery decided to transition to biodynamic viticulture. The vineyards extend over steep slate slopes, where predominantly Riesling is cultivated. During work in the vineyards and cellar, the use of synthetic agents and unnecessary interventions is strictly avoided. Through careful hand harvesting, the omission of additives, and slow fermentation, the estate produces individual wines with a strong connection to their origin.
