About the estate
The Lay-Augenstein winery was founded in March 2014 in Pünderich on the Mosel. The estate farms just under one hectare of vineyards located on steep slopes with an incline of up to 57 percent. All vineyard work is done entirely by hand, which helps to protect the soil ecosystem. Blooming wild herbs grow between the rows of vines, providing a habitat for animals. The portfolio includes wines and Secco, featuring an aromatic cuvée made from white grape varieties.
