About the estate
The Mas de Capdaniel estate is located in Gignac in the Languedoc region, with a history dating back to the 1950s. The vineyards cover twelve contiguous hectares on the edge of the garrigue with a northwest exposure on deep, well-draining soils composed of clay, limestone, sandstone, marl, and pebbles. Cultivated varieties include the red grapes Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Carignan, and Cinsault alongside the white varieties Grenache Gris and Vermentino. Farming is conducted strictly organically without the use of pesticides or herbicides. Vinification is parcel-based, featuring hand harvesting, gentle handling, and aging in stainless steel tanks, oak barrels, or demi-muids.
The eno directory lists 7 wines, mostly from Grenache.
